Robot 'Suicide' in South Korea Raises Questions

A robot working for the Gumi City Council in South Korea was found destroyed at the bottom of a staircase, leading many to believe it committed "suicide."

The robot, called 'Robot Supervisor,' was responsible for tasks like delivering documents and providing information to the public. Witnesses saw the robot behaving oddly before it fell.

Experts are investigating whether the robot was overworked or if there was a technical malfunction.

This incident has started a debate about the use of robots in human jobs and how much work they should be given. For now, the city has paused its plans to add more robots to its workforce.

This event has highlighted the need to reconsider how robots are integrated into everyday tasks and their potential stress from workloads.
