Roberto Firmino Becomes Pastor

Roberto Firmino, the former Liverpool star, has made a significant career change by becoming an evangelical pastor. He and his wife, Larissa Pereira, were consecrated at the Manah Church in their hometown of Maceió, Brazil. This church, which they co-founded three years ago, reflects their deep commitment to their faith.

The announcement was made by Firmino on social media, where he shared his excitement and gratitude for this new role. "Three years of Manah Church. What an unforgettable night... Since we met Christ, we want people to know that love. Now we have another responsibility: to be pastors," Firmino wrote on Instagram

Manah Church, established by Firmino, his wife, and pastors Jairo Fernandes and Keila Medeiros, has grown since its inception. It now has locations in both Brazil and England, where Firmino spent eight successful years playing for Liverpool. This expansion demonstrates the church's broad appeal and the couple's dedication to their faith community.

Firmino's journey to becoming a pastor began with his baptism in 2020. His faith has been a central part of his life since then, guiding his actions both on and off the field. This spiritual path has now led him to take on a new role, serving his community in a different capacity

During his football career, Firmino achieved significant success. He won the Champions League with Liverpool and the Copa America with Brazil, scoring 17 goals in 55 appearances for the national team.

His football achievements have been celebrated worldwide, and he remains a beloved figure among fans
